Merry Christmas, Iraq!
These were part of an order that Paulette placed as a surprise for her husband and his troops in Iraq. A Christmas collection!
Christmas Trees with Yellow Ribbon.
I made 15 of each of the following, wanting to be sure there were enough cookies still intact by the time they arrived in Iraq. Prior to this, the Halloween and Thanksgiving shipments had arrived in good condition, but you just never know… *wink*
See those snowmen? It’s harder to tell in the photo of just the two of them, but I didn’t notice AT ALL until I began uploading pictures… I completely forgot buttons on one of them! And, while it looks as if he is out-of-place already (red hat?), he really wasn’t. It’s just that all 15 large snowmen cookies wouldn’t fit on a cooling rack together, I promise!
Ornaments – each one is different!
An ornament close-up.
I hope these arrived on time, and the New Year’s shipment went out to them early last week, too! 🙂

But – I came to this site because it is advertised as a how-to decorate cookies beautifully! 🙁 But – if it is, I have not been able to find any help here. pretty cookies, though…
Hi Lina! I’m not sure what you mean by “advertised,” or where you first learned of my site? I do post a few ‘how-to’ posts on decorating, but most of the time, they are simply pictures of the cookie orders I’ve made.
Someone has your site pinned on pinterest with a picture of your (lovely!) trees with the caption “super easy way to decorate sugar cookies”
Hence, the (very misdirected and angry) confusion of the previous poster 🙂
Beautiful cookies! Happy holidays!
Oh, gotcha! Thank you for clearing that up for me, Jay! 🙂
