Grape Ice.

So cool and refreshing, this is one to turn to as the weather heats up. It’s so easy to make ahead, too!

Grape Ice.

Grape Ice

  • 3.5 cups water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 can (12oz.) frozen grape juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine water and sugar. Cover and microwave on high for 1-2 minutes; stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in grape juice concentrate and lemon juice. Pour into a 1-1/2 qt. freezer container (I used an empty ice cream bucket). Cover and freeze for at least 12 hours, stirring several times throughout. May be frozen for up to 3 months.

Yield: (The recipe says 6 servings, but we ate about 10 small bowls instead.)
